Scholarships

Scholarships to attend the Superstars Writing Seminar are available for both new and returning attendees. Anyone who meets the qualification criteria is encouraged to apply!

Some scholarships cover the full cost of seminar registration, while others cover additional expenses such as lodging and/or a per diem stipend for meals.

All scholarships will use the same application form. All scholarships are judged anonymously, using a blind judging process. This year’s submission window is April 15, 2025 through June 6, 2025.

Materials to Prepare:
1. A writing sample of 3,000 - 5,000 words in standard manuscript format (minus personally identifying information), in .docx, .doc, or .rtf format.
Note: Writing sample files must be anonymous.
2.
Two letters of recommendation, 300 words or less, from people who know you and your work as a writer and/or other creative professional.
3. Links to your website and/or social media (optional).
4. A personal essay, 400 words or less.
5. A financial need statement, 400 words or less.
Please note: If you plan to apply for the Young Superstars Writing Scholarship, you must be a senior in high school graduating in Spring 2026.
